I me...you're right. i was half asleep that day. I measured again a different way: i bumped it to BDC, smeared some white lithium around the jug, brought it to TDC and wiped off all the excess. then with the head torqued i filled the combustion chamber with pre-mix oil using a small syringe. I found that the domed pistons contributed to an 8cc discrepancy between the measurements AND what the factory lists as a compression ratio was way off. to get the oil out i just bumped it till the exhaust opened a little. warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10593199212700612267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24687965.post-31583100474916229142014-10-29T07:57:53.973-05:002014-10-29T07:57:53.973-05:00you need to use a "plate" or something f...you need to use a "plate" or something flat. I use a piece of plexiglass with a small hole in the middle. hold it down, then fill through the hole. you may need a thin layer of grease to seal it. a burrette with a valve at the bottom could be easier than a syringe.Steve Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12693864679751932674noreply@blogger.com
