32' roadster with a hot flat motor Josh Higgins originally ran in his coupe. Josh built the motor himself, working for free at a machine shop in his spare time in exchange for the opportunity to learn to machine everything. The guy who owns the machine shop, AutoSport up here in Seattle, is a good guy and a former AMA vintage bike judge.
Anyway, that motor is gnarly! Tons of cam, high-rise Edelbrock dual carb. Intake, two Stromberg 97's. The Transmission had Zephyr gears and was hooked to a high geared banjo rear-end. You had to feather the throttle pretty gingerly around town, but the thing would run 100mph all day long without a hiccup.

What else? 40' Ford wheels, a three inch chop with a custom top to accommodate it, and a really subtle but nice oxblood leather interior. It was fun to drive because it smelled like a baseball glove. Oh, open headers too. Loud. It's all torn apart now and the roadster body was sold. The car will be reborn shortly as a full fendered, unchopped, three window coupe. Same motor, trans., and chassis though, which is rad.
