Jay Bentley from Bad Religion and their soundman Ronnie Doss came out to the studio looking for some in-ear transmitters on Monday. We couldn't find the transmitters so we decided to grab some lunch.
During lunch Jay, who grew up in The Valley, told me about a skate park he went to as a kid, called Reseda Skatercross, that was right around where the studio is today. 
He said all the Venice skaters who dissed The Valley would sneak out here and skate this park. So Monday night I decided to do some research and these are some of the photos I found!

i'll have to dig thru my old mags, but there was an epic shot of John Grigley doing an invert at that park in the 80's waaay after it had closed down. i've often wondered if it wasnt dozed by then... is it now?...
p.s. lookin at those pics, that place looks a lot like the one "ponch" rode in that one episode of chips...
It's long gone. Yes, it's the one Ponch rode in CHiPs!
