Sunday Off Topic:

10 minutes ago I had finished this fine meal: Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice. I like the eggs done medium and the rice is good when it's left over from the night before.

This 3-hit combo is the standard grand breakfast of Hawaii. The "steak'n'eggs" of Hawaii if you will. There are many great Portuguese sausage makers in Hawaii - Redondo's, Gouvea's, Pacific Brand, Aloha Brand, the list goes on. Redondo's is the all time favorite for most people though.

Back about 12 to 15 years ago there was just one guy modifying H-D frames in Hawaii. I can't remember his name but for his day job he had a contract to make grills for the Redondo's sausage factory. If you could get him to get his frame jig out of the rafters, he was the only guy around that could honestly straighten a frame. I took a H-D straightleg to him once and just a short 6 months later, it got done.

Oh, by the way, the rumors are true. You can get Portuguese sausage, scrambled eggs and rice for breakfast at McDonald's in Hawaii among other exclusive things to the islands.
