Japanese Classic Car Show - Irvine, CA

It was a grand time. It was only 5 bucks to get in.

At every event in CA there are fancy soft drinks:
I had never seen this many 510's in my life. Not a single one in perfect stock form though, which I would have liked to see.

I missed my chance to buy a real clean one in Hawaii. One of the bigger regrets in my life.
I'm not sure if I'm 510 two-door sedan guy anymore though.
These wagons were always pretty appealing:
It was really neat to see many of them at once:
Not a single stock wagon though. Wah.

I've become a bigger fan of the trucks now more than ever. I've only ever seen two of these in real life. Mazda's rotary engine powered truck:
More to come.

The rust factor here in New England makes those things nearly extinct, although we did have a Datsun roadster at our deal on Sunday.

My brother went thru a Mazda RX2, RX3 + a pickup. Got to drive them + they were a blast.
Ended up picking up a 1st gen 626 /w a 5 speed in the 80's. Fun car to drive on little two lanes while going to school in southern Indiana.
