Kyle the Pyle, Death Machine

I'd like to introduce a new loser to our crew of photo journalists, Kyle Yanagimoto of Death Machine. I took this photo a year-and-a-half ago in North Shore, Hawaii. Grant Fukuda of Royal Hawaiian Pool Service had gotten us access to a private backyard pool that was made to skate. This is the best photo I got from that afternoon on my little pocket camera.

Kyle was one of the first (if not the first) good friend I made when I moved to Southern California. I had moved to work for Chica's where Kyle was initially having a frame modified which is where our romance began.
It was impossible to get the actual photo of Kyle in flight. That's T-Bone, CantStayJose and Chica on the ground. My belly was too fat from my mommy's cooking for Kyle to ollie over.
I was taking photos behind Crazy George's back. A photo from this session ended up on the cover of The Horse, some time in 2003 or 2004? I'm not sure. The crazy thing is that Kyle is also from Oahu, Hawaii (Kaneohe local) whom I had never met while I lived there. We have a bunch of mutual friends and hung out at many of the same spots. He left the island really early on and have recently gone back.
Yeah, he would just show up and jump over everybody. Kinda like Mario from Nintendo I guess but he'd really get no points from it.

Chica fabricator's reunion. Sounds like a great idea! We could have a group hug and a big cry.
Or maybe not. Poop.

Okay after a coupla years or more of seein' this kinda stuff, I now ask this question:

WHAT IN THE WORLD does skating have to do with choppers?

I'm not trying to be a smart ass either.

Sincerely, Spuddley
