Cant Stay Jose's Dilemma
I own an FXR, a shovel rigid, a flathead; all running bikes. I also have a knuck project which is a rolling chassis (engine needs to be rebuilt). I cant decide.

gotta go with the chevy ragtop but I grew up in a car dealer family.

Keep the '46, sell the shovel for cash and use the $ to buy the car or finish the knuck. The bikes a lot harder to get hold of than the G ride.
Keep the bike unless you're going to hydro and flake the Chevy...

this week , next week what jose . keep the fucking bike .i know that you are getting old and looking older but that car looks like something my gramma would drive . it will take a lot to make that car look cool and we all know that you dont have the time to do it .

If the bike is all OEM tins etc. then no way, but if there is a lot of repop parts on it I'd say yes.

Some Astros, a good lowering, a nice cut and polish - that car would pull a man some tail.
F the car, keep the bike. Cars are big gas eating lumbering piles that aren't fun to drive or work on, plus they take the space of 4 to 6 bikes in the garage.

thanks for the input. the car is clean and its untouched witch makes it better than most cars. supremes and thin whites thats all this car needs. the flatty i cant ride all the time and its a bitch on the freeway besides i have 4 bikes and the knuck project is still moving forward. its a hard toss up these cars are going for some coin. and the flatty well i dont really know the value.

I have a '66 Malibu that I was going to sell a few times and my grandfather said I may want to keep it, because someday I wouldn't be able to ride all those kicker Harleys - so, I kept the Malibu.

Love em both, but you know damn well that car is worth more....but a flattie like that is getting harder to find... I say trade, you can always self the car for more than we know you have into that bike... And plus yer Mexican you BELONG in that car.. hahahaaa

The bike. I would consider the car if it had a real transmission, but an auto is just a grocery getter. You can wave in a parade, or give it to your mom, or sell it if it's a purely business decision. I'd rather have the UL for sure.

The flatty, as you said is no good on the freeway, but more fun can't be had on the backroads. Keep the bike. If you can't get out of your house without going freeway, move.
