Church Of Choppers has a come along a little ways since it began. Jeff had this site going and one day he told me he was gonna be outta town, so I volunteered to help maintain the site with a few posts while he was out.
Shortly after that, some friends of ours joined up and now the site's what it is today. With a few more people now from all over the world, we're pretty stoked to be able to offer even more interesting photos for you all to look at; motorcycles, art, cars, culture, news, music... and my favorite: vintage photos.
So check out this amazing set of photos sent in by Mike Mafufa of Berdoo:
Here is a pic of my 56 panhead one Saturday morning in 1975.
I was trying to get her started to go riding with the fellas and it must of took 100 kicks before I realized the key was turned off, damn them tie sticks!

The mid-peg set up, the CCE rocker covers, those handlebars... and a windowed neck! Fucking dreamy! I wanna hang out with Mike!
Cool Photos. Perfect example how the times affected styles. The rise of the fat bike. Everybody was switching out their peanut tanks for fat bobs after the gas shortage of 74. lots of gas stations closed and guys didn't want to deal with it. Harley went back to 3.5 tanks again on FX's in late 70's. Fat tanks reined supreme up until not too long ago.
hahahah nice story on the kicker!, 1975!?, cool! i was born that year and knowing somebody was kickstarting a pan back then makes me appreciate this lifestyle more and wanna go on living it!
that tie stick will knock your hat in the creek
