MoLAA (Museum of Latin American Art) in Long Beach, near 7th St. and Alamitos. It's one of those places thousands of Long Beach and neighboring residents never get around to checking out. It was fucking amazing.

A cafe is also on the premises and they serve real good food. I highly recommend it. Parking is easy at the place because there's never much people around.

There was art from Mexico down to the tips of Argentina and Chile. This one below came from Argentina. Every time I see something from Argentina, I think of T-Rod and want to pelt him with more questions about his old hood. I stared at this bar scene for quite a while: I'm not sure but I think this one was from Bolivia:
I thought to myself that this fat man eats well so I'd like to follow him to a restaurant.

Puerto Rican artist Arnaldo Roche did the following two paintings. This guy had some pretty gnarly tragedy in his family. His schizophrenic brother killed his sister with their father's police gun. There was also another death in his immediate family by gun:

His paintings were so fucking huge and amazing. You could just stand there and stare for quite a while. If I ever win the lotto I'm gonna have a huge room to hang out and look at stuff like this while hanging out with Bob Marley. Oh, and you can catch Roche's work from 11/9 to 3/22 at MoLAA:
I have a can of this in the kitchen.
I can't remember where this was from but there was a few Japanese groceries in the photo.
Visit MoLAA. I'm stoked I finally went. I'm taking Jeff here next time he's in town because I'm sure he's tired of the V-Room and Riley's by now.
