MC5

Marlowe found these MC5 pictures while dealing with the personal effects of her friend, Bobbie Kaminski, who passed away recently. No details on the location or date are available but feel free to speculate.

I wanna hear a little revolution.
Brothers and Sisters, the time has come

Whether you are gonna be the problem
Or whether you are gonna be the solution.
You must choose, Brothers, you must choose.

I love the total lack of production back then.

It would be super cool if it was the Grande Ballroom in the land of the free, Detroit MI! More than likely some High School or city auditorium in the SE Michigan area.????

Cooles pics ever! Wow!!!

I'd say the pic is from 1968, based on the fact that Fred is still playing a Mosrite guitar, as far as I know he only used a Mosrite up to 1969.

Then he switched to a Epiphone Crestwood Special and after that a Rickenbacker 450. But who knows? my guess is the pics are from 1968. Thanx for posting them, true inspiration!

sweet pics fer sure. They went Marshall early in '69...I believe. There aren't whole lot of stills with the skull and cross bones flag though, usually all stars and stripes. I say this for every MC5 thing, but watch A True Testimonial...it'll change your life!
