"Eh, Nels. What's da haps?"
"Nothing. Cruising, cuz."
"I made fried rice, made extra plenty. Come over."
"Solid."
At this point Dustin had already changed the oil in his truck, fixed his power steering and had already gotten ready to serve me up some fried rice:

"I didn't have much to put in it. Definitely not my best. All I had was frozen peas and celery. Just lots of shoyu (soy sauce), some cooking oil, spicy stir fry mix, that's it."

Even lacking meat, Dustin's fried rice was quite good! Very good, in fact.

I definitely enjoy eating other people's cooking.

Oh How I wish I was there!!!
That's the shit...my ol lady saves the rice from the night before so it's sticky and I fry up some shrimp in a little butter & garlic
and throw in frozen peas also with some canned green beans and some chopped green onion and when it's cooked for a while I throw in 2 beaten eggs to finish and it's the best shrimp fried rice around..soy to taste

I went to the Samoan market by my house yesterday. Bought Hawaiian hotdogs and Hawaiian style Portuguese sausages.
I also found frozen, ziplocked rice in the freezer last night. Forgot it was there. According to my mom, frozen sticky rice is the best rice for making fried rice! Freezing the rice takes the stickiness out of it.
I'm making Portuguese sausage fried rice for dinner. Too bad our bean sprouts aren't ready yet. We're growing them so I can perfect my fried rice/fried noodle fancy.
Thanks for taking the time to post foodie stuff! I'm a food lovin fool
