Above is another image created by Big Daddy Ed Roth around the same time as the "Dead Cop" image that has caused such an uproar!All the whining, pissing and name calling has only confirmed one thing, Ed Roth is not only one the the founding fathers of "Lowbrow" art, but an amazing artist, period! Art at it's best is intended to invoke and emotion, to strike a nerve! If an image that is over 40 years old can make people flip out like this one has, than I say job well done!
After all we're talking about a hand drawn image, nothing more! I think we should all raise our glass to Big Daddy for still freaking out the squares over 4 decades later!
As for us whining about our helmets. Do whatever you want to do when it comes to your own head. I chose to wear a full face helmet even when the law (which I think is fucking lame) doesn't mandate it. My number one goal when I get on a bike is to make it home to see my family! If that makes me a pussy or a fake biker, so be it. I'll take real dad to my daughter over real biker (whatever that means) every fucking time!
I'm sorry that one of my posts got COC an adult content label (which is ironic)! But I don't regret the post!

It has been my observation that TRUE freedom of speech makes most Americans very uncomfortable/angry/whatever at some point. So sad, so pathetic ....
Well said Scott. I still remember the end of "Easy rider". I was at the premier in Westwood in '69. Whoa! I was headed to Nam a few weeks later. Freedom scares some people and we know what scared people are capable of.
