Was the top one in L.A. Confidential?
The roof bar at the Formosa was the first bar I was "asked to leave" in LA. Apparently they demand the patron have the ability actually speak when requesting a drink, pointing and slurring wont cut.
I was kicked out of The Formosa loooong before there was a roof bar!

The only two bars I've ever been kicked out of. I'm still not sure how we got kicked out of El Coyote!
