Road America

We just got back from the AMA races @ Road America. With the exception of Sunday afternoon, the weather was crap...cold (temps in the 50's) and rainy. Regardless, the sounds of the bikes on track along with the smell of race gas and bratwursts-a-grillin' at 9 a.m. leaves you thinking; "It's gonna be a good day, Tater."

It's hard to write an actual race report when you only see the bikes go by every 2 minutes. So...I'm just going waste a bunch of bandwidth with a bunch of random pics I took over the course of the weekend. Bottoms up!

Sunday night bonus...after the races, we were back in Madison hanging out with Pops and Colleen at the hotel bar, when some guy across the bar asks about the Yoshimura sticker on my phone. It turns out he is the marketing director for the Yosh team (I can't remember his name...his card is in my wallet). We shoot the shit for quite awhile...he had some rather 'interesting' insight into the AMA Roadracing series as well as some entertaining stories about Mat Mladin. I'm going to hit him up for a gig as a press release writer. who knows...
