It's a 2002 FXDX. I came across this bike while standing outside of H-D Westminster. The dude selling it was willing to let it go for a price that was just too good. So the next day I handed him the cash and have been stoked ever since.
Since I bought the bike almost three years ago, I've had the lower end welded together and did a timken bearing conversion to it. I bumped up the displacement to 95", put in a mild Andrews cam and made the stainless exhaust.
I didn't need to do much to the chassis since all the good stuff was there; adjustable shocks front & rear with dual disc brakes that comes stock on an FXDX.
I did add a chassis stabilizer to the bike from Alloy Art and a front fairing.
The other additions include stainless Sportster bars (narrower than stock, for splitting lanes), Todd's Cycle grips, a napoleon style mirror, my own air cleaner cover and the Hot Dock seat, courtesy of Amprotech.
As some of you may know this is my daily rider, not to mention that it's the only running bike I have right now. I commute to work most of the time on it and occasionally get to make some long trips too. All in all, it's one of the best bikes I've owned.

Superb!! love the exhaust!
God Damit Nelson, you're going to make me buy one!
or buy some parts....Jedi.
Gawddamn. That's almost enough to convince me that Twin Cam's are okay...
Almost.
Beautiful, I've been trying to encourage locals to build bikes like this for a while now. But they just don't seem to get it. If nobody else has tried it yet, check out the bars from a VRSC street rod, super small and a little bit straighter. I've been running a set on my sportster for a while now, and they're one of my favorite bars to this day.
