My younger brother once bought a stock old softailframe and a cheap but dependable Evo Sportster engine. He cut up the frame and so the Sportster engine would fit. Mounted the frontend, gastank and wheels from the sporty, made his own pipes, rearfender and oilbag and ended up with a real cool cheap English style citybike. I liked it.
