The 'EMJ Materials and Technical Resource' book is a must have. It gives product overview, mechanical properties, and a shit load of other information...These used to be hard to get....With the economy the way it is, it might be prime time to get yours...

Ahh reminds me of working at the steel yard.. got one of those when I started. And there was an old guy named Glen who owns a forge company that worked there. He was a dying of breed of old guys, he had a degree in metalergy.. crazy
