I have posted three photos. One of an 'early chopper', one of a '70's chop' and one of a 'today's chopper' to show you guys the evolution of the chopper in a simple(!) way. Although built recently, the 'early chopper' on the first photo shows you how the very first choppers looked like. In the 70's when people got bored with that early look they started building bikes with more extreme forms. Bikes with ultra long frontends, stretched out frames and an even more individualistic look like the one on photo two. Some might call them hippy bikes but they were once ridden by creative hardcore outlaw bikers who had discovered their world was bigger then their hometown. The third photo shows a chopper of today. A bike heavily influenced by both the early chop and the 70's chop. I like all three styles! For me it is all about building something that looks cool, trying to stay true to our rich chopperculture during the process and then ride the hell out of it.
What kinda racing around town is that bike going to do with no front brake. Fuck, around town, a scooter would beat that....so the word evolution might not be the best word.
Well, Jeff, this is what they did in the old days, racing through town with no frontbrake...I won't but the first chopperbuilders did. No fear! And Jeff, go buy a fuckin scooter then, haha

Early appeals to me most. Not "period" per se but racing through town, highway, backroads, try not to get hurt

I'd rather ride this style of bike on a long trip than that hippy long bike, any day.
