class irish roadracing footage jeff, tom herron, joey dunlop and other legends, brave men indeed, one of the guys in the film is ron haslam, he lives two miles away from me, on one of my trips to the isle of man tt races i was staying in a bed and breakfast in douglas with a load of irishmen, joey had won a race that day and they were in the bar having a beer to celebrate 'yer maun's' victory and they invited me to join them, i was so drunk i fell off the bar-stool i was sitting on and they had to put me in bed, next morning i woke up feeling like shit and made my way downstairs for a coffee, my girlfriend at the time was giving me a fucking hard time about getting pissed and the paddy's were still in the bar, they greeted me with the classic 'lightweight english narrowback bastard, what's a matter son? did yer need a little lie-down?'.
Rocket ron haslem....a god..long live pharoah racing...!!! saw him many times as a kid in the UK...fearless... joey dunlop..all those guys were the best..balls of steel...great vid..!!
small world. my buddy harvey posted that video. he's a total racing nut that has forgotten more about racing than i'll ever know. he was supposed to go to isle of man this year but plans got screwed. -ed

Loveless thanks! That was a killer story.....I hate putting u-tube videos on here, but that is so fucking neat...My plan is to go to the Isle 2010.
