I watched it the other day and dude in the red helmet gets whacked in the head by his own bike when it crashes.. hardcore stunts in that flick.

You guys can talk to ColinJay on the SR500 Forum, he was in the movie as an extra and had quite a bit of screentime..very personable gent for sure..likes to build XT/TT/SR Yamahas

Skylar - the getting hit in the head, apparently that wasn't a stunt?
Mad Max was filmed around where I live (west of Melbourne, Australia) and in the 70s was a great place of a post-apocalyptic film. :)
Many of Toecutters gang were played by the local chapter of the Vigilantes MC.

Lil Bit of trivia, In the last frame posted her, the front of the truck is actually painted on sheet metal. It is a fake KW Front built specificaly for the stunt. I guess the 2nd unit director didn't want to damage the radiator of the big rig with say, a handle bar, front fork etc.. Gnarl Carl
