30 Days of Dinner

Over the last few weeks, whenever I actually remember to do it, I took quick shot of dinner. Lots of these photos do not include fresh greens we eat out of our garden, so don't worry, I'm eating my veggies too. And so, ladies & gents, let's start our 15 course food post with this one below: Rigatoni with Home Made Pesto.
Local Clams from Oceanside with Hawaiian Style Portuguese Sausage. Gotta use the bread to mop and sop the sauce, doodles:
Beef Stew with Roasted Sweet Potato:
Oat Crusted Chicken Thighs, Candied Yams and Fried Polenta:
Apple Cobbler, Home Made Strawberry Balsamic Preserves:
A twist on the old pork & beans. Slow Cooked Pulled Pork with Black Beans and Rice:
Roasted Potato Soup from the "Soup Swap" my wife did with four others:
Our neighbor Rachael made Beef Empanadas. These were ka-booooom:
Roast Chicken & Beet Greens from our garden and a Wild Rice Medley:

Peanut Butter Shake (thanks to Death Machine Kyle & Rhiannon!):
Rachael's Split Pea Soup from the Soup Swap:
Favorite from Hawaii, Chicken Long Rice:
Beef Curry. Potatoes from Bakersfield, Carrots from our garden:
Quick Style Lasagna with Ground Turkey:
And sometimes dinner can be $10 pizza over cocktails with Brawny. Which can be one of the best dinners:
See you next time with the last food post I got from my trip back home in Hawaii. Life's too short for drive thru!

Hey Nelson, can you post the recipe for the Peanut Butter Shake? Puleeze!!!

Two big scoops of vanilla (or vanilla yogurt) ice cream, one lump of peanut butter, just a little splash of milk of any kind. Soy, skim milk, whole milk, rice milk, whatever.

Stick it all into a blender. Less milk = thicker shake!

Nelson, if you come for the Indy Mile this year we can do a food tour: Korean bbq, Johns famous stew, Jamaican patties, Mug n' Bun, The Tamale Place, rib tips and fried pickles, etc. I guarantee a 5-10lbs weght gain over the weekend.
