FXR in Sendai City

This bike started life as an FXRS-C, otherwise known as the FXRS-Conv, and hails from 'Chopper City' of Sendai, Japan. Unlike living in the more populated areas of larger, conjoined cities, this part of the country demands even more reliability from their bikes due to it's isolation. If you look at a map, you'll notice that Sendai is surrounded by a lot of open country.
Because of this, bikes from Sendai City have a reputation for it's ruggedness and style that goes back 15 years or more now. And this hot rod FXR is proof of what they had been speed-shifting around Sendai all this time. Put together by Daisuke over at Cosmic, this bike has that infamous style we all know and love today.
Some high performance goodies scattered across this bike are the Keihin 41mm FCR carb (very popular overseas) lurking behind the S&S teardrop and an Andrews EV3 cam.
Featuring a modified Thunderheader 'mid-pipe' and flame job done by Daisuke, this FXR looks fast just sitting there.
Stock hand controls are mounted onto Cosmic's Stainless Steel X-Bars and 8" Risers.

I can't help but think they - Cosmic - have it all figured out when it comes to choppers, or whatever you want to call them.

One more point for the Japanese.

That thing is TITS!

Nelson, I remember you said you were going to put scans up of Joel Otto's insane FXR from the old IH. Have you put them up and I missed them?
