6 days out, and this is cloudy as it got.
No cops the whole way there.
We left DSM Tuesday night and banged out about 200 miles, then finished the ride with a pair of 800 mile days.

One of my favorite rides is Los Angeles to Vegas on a Sunday night.
Watching trails of lights coming from all the cars coming back to LA while thinking of all that happened. Pefect ride.

The ride was killer. 100 plus the whole way. As soon as Vegas started showing up in my mirror, my bike went dead.
The 605, 210, and the 15's bumps seemed to have battered my loose brain box.
The next day was a dead end, so with my tail between my legs my bike ended up in a pickup.
My friends that I was riding with are probably in a little bar in the Rockies as I type this.
Cheers to you guys!
Thank you my friends & family in So Cal.

I love the la to lv ride...there is something poetic about arriving in vegas on a bike. The next piece of that ride that rules is the sweeping corners that lead into Utah...
Now I need to get out there and ride again dammit....

6 days in a row of great riding weather; that's a wonderful thing. You get/gonna get a current tech ignition unit?
Nice ride man, i am envious also! Just sorted my bikes carb and now i feel confident i can ride an hour out to the beach and be reliable enough..sorry about your ignition, i wish SR's would do NEAR 100..but keep the ride reports coming, they are inspiring for sure
