I think I heard somewhere it was like 80% humidity, and 104 heat index.
The metal was already warm for welding.

If you were in your shop last night with out air and it was hot as hell..Send me an email, and Ill send you something....Include your address and how hot it was...Fuck, a picture would be cool (no pun), but not necessary.

I was working in my shop last night, I wish I had air. Since I'm not to far away I'm sure we were feeling the same thing. Long hair worked for Jesus, but it was sure pissin me off last night.
97 degrees and 105 heat index. Yeah it sux in no air.
in there till 4 am last night armed with a healthy supply of budwieser and coors and coffee working on the bike for the invitational.
it's too hot in there midday. work at night.
it's supposed to hit 97 in nyc tommorow. fucked.
at least the fridge works.
I'm in Dallas, the last three nights I've been in the shop which has a west wall. Add the welding heat to it and I think I lost about five pounds. The only breeze is out of the South and that makes it feel like working in a convection oven.
