I saw something on this a few weeks ago. Reminds me of early 1970's in Southern Iowa. Cops new The Angels were riding through and gave them a police escort through a few counties basically becouse the small towns did not want them to stop and visit. HA!
Wow! One of the coolest links you've posted here Jeff! Thanks. A couple of things really jumped out at me. Lot's of Sportsters! That really isn't the bike many people attach to the HA in their mind I think. Also the "feel" of those pictures seems like something unobtainable in a digital world today???

They'd already been Hells Angels 17 years at this point. Too fucking cool.
