I was so nervous I put my sponsor's stickers on upside down on the fork legs.
I had never rode in the desert before, let alone racing the Vegas to Reno 500 with no team mates.

Xr600? How tough was it and were you in any kind of shape to keep a fast pace?
84 xr500 with yz250 swing arm and forks. I was in good shape, fast enough pace for a b rider.
Thats rad! I was lookin at the pic forever trying to figure out what kind of inverted boingers were atteched to an xr. I should have clicked on the comments sooner! A 500 miler solo is bad ass!
It all comes down to sticker placement-then...who knows.Great!
