Did the same thing two summers ago, only on 40. Novato to Cowpens S.C and back in 90hr. Talk about no time to enjoy anything. Looking back, I wouldn't have changed anything though. Next time we'll take some more time and maybe we'll make it all the way from coast to coast.
I live right off hwy 50 in montrose co. I had no idea it was trans contintental. I thought it was cool that it went all the way to kansas. man am i dumb. thanks for the awakening.

sweet.. I did 50 from Cali to KS many moons ago then south. Some great roads, and some shitty ones as well.. but one hell of a good ride!
