I have and always will have a street bike payment. Every two to three years I trade in.
The R1 was my daily ride from 2004 - 2006. This was a good one except for the seat getting a little hot on desert crossings, and in-town riding. The race pipes sounded wicked.
This one was in 1998 riding to NYC. I put 60,000 miles on that 916.
2000 riding to Cali.

You know I think what you said about having a street bike payment is just what I needed to hear. I think I may buy a newer used bike though. I've always wanted an GSXR750 Thanks!
Thats the way to do it!
Have a bike you're wrenching, but don't have another of the same bike, you don't wrench - have a bike that you fucking ride, ride, ride! I have to start do this myself...
I have a daily rider again, doing any work on it is mostly just fun and optional, makes waiting to finish the other one more bearable! I'm not making a payment on the rider, but I sure as hell would.
I worked at Mc Donalds just to make my bike payments once.
It is very nice to have something equal to a F1 racecar in power to weight ratio. To do nothing but change some oil and fill the tank to ride across country is worth every penny....and across, and across, and across.....
hows that zx10 measure up against the bikes of the past?
Funny..I have had a car payment, but never a bike payment. Bike has to be all mine...:)
