Why are the motorcycle shops in my town closed on Mondays?
Is this anywhere else?

Apparently it's old biker tradition. Same thing with the good stores in Vegas. Party all weekend, recoup on Monday.

It always seems after a weekend I know what I need or want, and time and time again...I drive there anyway. If I owned a 'Open to the Public' shop, I think Monday - Friday 12noon till 8pm.
I never understood the closed at 6pm thing...People work all day, eat dinner.... and Oh shit the bike shops closed..

...not fun when you tear something down on Saturday and realize at about 4:30pm that you need something from the shop. Stuck until Tuesday morning.

For decades here, they all close on Monday. Close a bit early on Saturdays, 3 - 4 PM varies for each shop. they're gonna get their 2 day weekend. Can't blame 'em. One exception, a friend was only closed on Sundays and if you were in dire straits he'd open to get you your parts - RIP Jr. Bailey.
