One of the saddest things, next to the genocide and the following expropriation itself, is that the government, who always again points out how wrong the nazis, soviets, turks were with their doings, still does not take any efforts to clarify the facts in history concerning their own holocaust 100-200 years ago.
One can critisize Germany etc. all day long, but you cannot reproach us to not have reviewed our close history properly.
Even sadder, if you see how many folks think its completely natural that it went how it went denying any kind of wrongdoing in the past, "genocide? yeah, that's what the nazis did, right?"

The average Joe watches this video and says, "Yeah, but what the fuck can I do? I got a full time job, so does the ol' lady. I got three kids. I gotta house with a leaky roof. My car is old. What the fuck can I do, man?"
These videos are cool and all but they never fucking give suggestions as to what you can do to help.
I dunno. Maybe donate to AIM. Write an email to your congressman - send them the link. Write an email to the newspaper. If you live nearby maybe donate a couple hours a month - teach someone to read, or to navigate the web. Fuck, I dunno, maybe ride share. Go to website and sign a petition. Maybe buy a t-shirt that supports the movement. Hell, maybe just edjumacate yourself so you can speak intelligently about the subject.
I ain't preaching here cause I am just as guilty as the next cheesedick.
