Once everything was back together I figured I'd just head West, most of the storm had passed so I should be able to punch through to sunshine. pfftt...
just enough snow to sting
I called it when I got to Rifle. Too chilly for my willy and my battery was dead, sweet. I managed to find a parking garage with an outlet to poach. I left the scooter there to charge overnight while I found a nice slice of Heaven next to the Colorado River. Huge, star-filled sky, the river flowing by and some lonely rail road tracks. It was good sleeping till the train hauled by, I thought I was being abducted by a f#cking spaceship.

Awesome story dude -
After a few days in the same place the trains don't even wake you up anymore.
I lived in a warehouse by the S.P. tracks in Oakland for awhile. First time the train came by 3am the dogs thought it was Armageddon (or alien invasion)..a two days later we were all sleeping thru it @ 3am..
Great yarn once again.
