The song never ending story keeps running through my head... - 115HP out of an 88" shovel is a task. When this motor is running it is awesome - 13:1 / 295 CFM / custom made cam, heads, pistons and lifters rings. It is a finely balanced thing - (for example ...for those who know shovel heads... the heads are only torqued to 45 foot pound - so there is only one head gasket on the market that holds it all in...) and so on... - I've learnt a lot from this thing... - Last November I rode the thing too lean, too fast, too long and melted the pistons... 6 months of waiting and i have new pistons, new barrels, new rings, ... etc...
Spending the time putting it back together with precision. Don't want this fast puppy coming apart for a long time to come...
