Once upon a time...
I went out riding with some of my club brothers and a couple of the Ruiners Crew... As it was the night after the confiscation of LEGAL guns raids in Victoria... The big blue gang were on steroids and had been given a directive from on high to pull over any bikers and give them a hard time on anything they could...
7.30pm. Riding down Smith Street - Blue Gang car does illegal UTurn - Pulls me over and does the 'triple'. License, Rego, Breath Test.
8.00pm Souvlaki and Beer
9.00pm Riding back roads and avoiding blue boys we arrive at mates club house - a few drinks, talk shit, laugh
12am - leave clubhouse ride round corner and get hunted down by 3 pursuit cars, a van and 14 blue boys. They pull the triple (with the attempted plus plus)... remember lads, you only have to give your license, rego and do a breathie... Don't answer those - where have you been - what are you doing questions... unless you are like Ran and can give them specific analogies about the similarities between riding BMX and Choppers. 'We're just like kids riding BMX... pulling a few tricks and going nowhere fast'...
1am - Pub.
2am - Leave Pub and Rans shovel blows - and you know what... even with the flywheel hanging out the bottom - he got 1/2 a mile down the freeway... (he had been wondering where all that silver glitter in the oil was coming from anyway - problem solved)
