This morning I got an email about a website: AceRacer72.

What I found was quite the cool little photo, so I lifted it for all you viewers here:

I did this for two reasons: #1, thats George Crocker (kneeling) and #2, Jim Wismer on the far right. Who are those two guys?

George is the retired general manager of H-D of Westminster. Jim is the founder and previous owner of the same (also the self titled "Ladies Salesman"). These two guys built, rode, raced, baja'd, went hunting, did burnouts & wheelies, all kindsa man-style shit over the years together. They once even cast home-made cannons and shot it in the dealership parking lot. The cannon ball went through the entire dealership, leaving a hole through each wall.

George worked for the Motor Company through the 60's and 70's, going abroad and working with dealers all over the world. George knows has a lot of experience with the inner workings of the Motor Company. Jim Wismer stuck it out through all the hard times and the "growing years" of Harley-Davidson. These guys are true heroes. I'm glad to have worked with them. You can still catch these two at H-D of Westminster.
