1970 Buick Stage 1 GS was the fastest original era muscle car ever built, faster than any Mopar. My first American car was a 1970 Buick Riviera, that thing was sick, it weighed prolly 3500 or more but it would accelerate like a scalded bat, the brakes sucked hence its demise.
A couple cars my brother-in-law, Monte Ditmer, built awhile back.
