'El Forestaro New Years's Party' 1966

The top three pictures are of the Blue Bus being pulled over on the way to the New Years Eve Cave Party that is in the David Mann poster.
Thats Tom with the hat in the right hand corner.
The date on the photos is when they were developed.
How fucking neat is that!
Thank you Mr. Fugle for sharing this with us.

why do all these style of art work from MANN... all have Roth's name on them...
they are such a different style then the normal MANN art!

Standard, To answer your question. These are Dave's early works. Like what happens to many artist's, while not as polished, in many ways have more soul than later works. He also started using a lot of airbrush later on. Early work had little or none. If you go back and look you'll also see that his early Easyriders art looked more like the Roth stuff than the later stuff.

dig the old timers, it was hard to be a bike man then they where always getting hassled by the law, someone said freedom ain't free, and I bet all the fines and bail money added up back then

my dad and uncle used to party down in those caves, not with EFMC but to anyone in kansas city over a certain age the caves were legendary.
