OK ... So I was in Indonesia last week and cracked out the hire scooter ($4 a day - Rice Whiskey Shots included) .... no drink driving laws - no helmet laws.
I grew up there! I used to crawl out of my bedroom window at 2am. I'd go meet my friends at an undisclosed location, we'd smoke cigarettes and rent those little bikes. Then back to home to wake up at 6am for school. My friend crashed one and he had to give up his awful Marlboro jacket as payment. I am so glad they took it away from him. Ahhhh the Eighties!
Exactly the same here in thailand.... just the bottles are thai whiskey.... these little gas stops are everywhere...come in handy some nights when the gas stations are closed... two bottles please
