Last Friday, on a beautiful
Spring evening amidst the stunning backdrop of Utah's Wasatch
mountains, a massive number of people converged to view the
unveiling of the CR2013 Gallery Show, photographed by Steven Stone.
65 images lined the halls and walls of The Commonwealth Building and told the crazy tale of 6 friends who rode their 20-year-old dirtbikes from Salt Lake City to the Costa Rica/Panamanian border.
Immediately upon entry, a Honda
XR400 was placed, stickered and packed exactly like it was for
the 24 day trip -- loaded Kriega bags, a Poler Tent, and Icon
helmet and boots. It was a powerful first impression and set the
stage with a touch of realism to throw viewers into the visual journey.
The first image was a small
synopsis from Sean Jordan (one of the riders on the trip) that
conveyed just a few of the emotions they experienced on the journey.
People from all walks of life
came to view the show, and when all was said and done, over 500
sets of eyes rolled through during the 4 hour soiree.
Pabst, Red Bull, and Sugar House
Distillery graciously provided beverages, and Three Brothers
cooked authentic Mexican food for attendees.
It was an insane evening, and
we'd like to thank the brands below for their support of both
the trip and the release event. Without them, it wouldn't have
gone nearly as smooth as it did.
