El Mirage
Team Speed Merchant headed out for a weekend in El Mirage to run wide open and get some footage for a short film by Mike Quinones/ Ourcaste. We are lucky to have a great group of talented friends who wanted to join in the filming, riding and drinking...these shots by Taylor Dunfee
24 Hours on Blacktop
I flew to West Virginia to pick up a car I bought off ebay from photos only.
Not being a car guy, I did my best to look it over....Seemed fine. Off I went.
It had a fresh motor, so I tried to stay off the interstates. At times, It was a must.
After getting a two lane route down, I was getting hungry and saw a drag race going on. So bbq, and smoke was the ticket. Best 15 dollar lunch I ever had.
No cup holders.
So many small race shops in Kentucky.
It was 11pm, I had no sleep in 24hours. Rain and lighting were on the way. No wipers, tail light out, and these stupid headlight chrome brow things made seeing impossible. So I slept.
The seats are much smaller then my F150.
Mississippi.
My kids are distracting me, so my writing skills are hampered.
Great car, great cross country drive. So happy to have this in my driveway.

Teach em well
For my family, it's all about respect and support. Respect your elders, respect yourself and respect the machine. I took my son to see power sport wizard, Bill Bune in Anoka. We sat at the parts counter, looked at pictures, talked about bikes and spent a little cash. If you're lucky enough to have these kinds of places in your town, consider bringing your kids.
