heres some progress pics of my new shovel. this first pic is basically as i bought it. it runs good, but man if i hit the back of my knee on the passenger peg one more time i swear i might cry.

so in this pic you can see i swapped out the bars, did that within the first hour of it arriving. took off the mousetrap deal and changed it to jockey shift got the clutch pedal from JOSE the prince of clutch pedals! how could i forget?! and a shift lever from Mike Barrigan. if you look real hard you can see the headlight, it actually came from a boeing 747. i dont think ive ever seen one quite that big in person...

and here we have the smaller light (also from Scott). i spent a couple hours the other night rewiring some stuff and ditching the stock dash for a crappy homemade one i did out of some scrap sheet aluminum.

i know what youre gonna say here "you shoulda kept the old seat man!" and honestly, i do like the old one just slightly better, BUT, my kidneys and the rest of my internal organs were threatening a full blown mutiny! if i rode one more block the way it was. got the seat hinge parts from Fab Kevin, really nice stuff... http://www.fabkevin.com/home.htm

well, thats all for now. gonna go see my frame guy tonight and see how my pan/knuck frame is doin.......

you would have had room for your 14 girlfriends on the old seat... but then i suppose it would hardly be a 'chopper of freedom'
