Grant: AEE didn't change anything at all and thats why they went to court the first time.

If I remember correctly (and I think Randy told me this or maybe Tim Wallingford), after the first court battle, AEE went and made slight changes by making a separation through the fins on each rocker box. Some shit like that. Then they went to court again. Not sure how many times they went to court over this.

Yeah, I heard it was "fixed" (probably not to Randy's liking) with the deletion of a few fins in the middle of the covers...but sounds likely that it didn't end there!

I was there but never got details of the suit. will tell you this we sold a ton of panhead covers both smooth and finned.
