In 1966 I was 15 and man, I had to have one. The dealer down the street had them new; black and out the door for $428. I bugged the shit out of my dad to loan me the money. I was working 2 part time jobs and needed transportation.
Back then in FL, you could get a MC license at 14. Anyway he loaned me the dough, I bought it and rode it non stop for 2 years. Then I sold it for $400. I bought an XLH next and chopped it. This guy in MN has these for sale, I'm thinking about buying one.

wow, those all look amazing. if you need someone to take a look at 'em, i'm in minneapolis. almost worth the trip just to get an in person look.
