I'm planning a trip to Anamosa for the hillclimbs on 9/7 (first time in IA) ..... any comments/suggestions from locals on other cool stuff to investigate? I'm 50 been ridin' alla my life and I'm typical biker-type regarding activities. So, no gold or croquet.
I've played golf twice - first time was on Fripp Island (GA coast) in the morning when the alligators were sunning in the sand traps..... second time I just got hammered drunk. Early on in my burgeoning career as a nutjob, me and some other like-minded individuals would set up croquet course in between a bunch of trees to make it fucked up and fun. Then everyone got driver's licenses and that was the end of that. - S

Well if you're saying you've never played golf or croquet, then you should probably do that. You're not going to live forever, you know.
