The Surgery sticker Jeff posted reminded me of one of my favorite bands from the same era....The Cows!
I was working at Aritsa Records (you know Whitney Houston, Alan Jackson, Barry Manilow) at the time. I took a couple of A&R guys to see them. About three songs in, they were all looking at me like my head was on fire. Ahh, the good old days.

Yeah, They were from Mpls. I had them in the club about 6 times...They ruled!
Yeah, the Cows! Great band.
I saw them play at the Great River Roadhouse in Balltown, Iowa. I think they scared every local out of that place.
