Submitted by Anthony Robinson: In the late 60's a friendly rivalry broke out between two hardcore players in the drag racing game in Seattle. Both gentlemen ran front engine fuel cars at the time and decided it'd be fun to have summer toys.

They took their love of speed to the water and each bought a Sanger pickle fork drag hull. They then set the rules for the big race and went to work. The end result was two injected big block death machines; one with a 427 Chevy and one with a Ford Cammer.

The boat you see here is the Cammer, 'Penetration'. It's stroked, has wildly ported heads, and every high zoot part you can stuff into a motor. It produces 800+ HP, sounds like a popcorn popper, and is pure fucking insanity. The level of finish is hard to describe and I lust after this thing like no other. But where's the boat's Chevy powered arch nemesis, right? Rough one there.

The two friendly competitors each finished their boats, tested and tuned, set a date to race, lined them up, let them go, and the Chevy powered boat flipped at 110+ killing the builder/driver. One official run, one official death. 'Penetration' was put in storage never to race again.

I like boats and I also like shiny things. That means I really like this shiny boat.
