Thompson's book covers extensively a run to Bass lake and these pictures bring the words to life (although 8-10 years after Thompson's tag along). Outstanding historical documentation on the real 1% life ... one that most in a half hearted way try to emulate. It takes a lot of dedication to go all the way. I know I don't have it in me, and never did, but respect the choices and dedication of the ones that do. This blog is like a waterfall of bike/lifestyle content that keeps on flowing. It constantly amazes me how much you guys produce on this site. Keep on keepin on, someone famous once sang those lines so what the hell may as well pass it on. Your friend in cyberspace.
