Old School Superbikes rule!

After overhauling the engine, my baby made 145hp (on rear wheel) and 115nm on the dyno jet yesterday. And it isn`t even adjusted perfectly by now.
Bandit engine, 1216cc, Woessner forged pistons, Mikuni RS36 carbs, Akrapovic exhaust system
I love to ride it..

Thanks! Next step will be forged pvm wheels, aluminum rear frame and a proper paint job. I guess it will never be finished :D

Are there pics somewhere of how the swingarm-swap is done?

Mine will be finished this week, maybe even today. Exact same colorcombo.

Hey Rene, as the 1991 swingarm is not as wide as the 1988 swingarm, i made a spacer on the lathe. I also had to make new bushings in order to fit the axle of the 88 frame into the newer swingarm. The linkage is from a Suzuki RF 900. The shock is from WP Suspension, made for this bike. Can i see yours?

Need to remember the RF trick. Just put some pics up in a new post. Need to paint the seat, but the weather is no good (need to paint outside) It's going to be black with red vynil stickers in the end.
