Holy Shit!

The greatest thing happened. A box at my doorstep.
The letter is great.

"Here is the deal. Im sending you these photos to look at and enjoy but when you are done, I would like them back.  I want to share them with you because I know you will dig them. No hurry. Just take care of them and enjoy them and return when you are done."

So lurkers we have hundreds of Great great racing photos for these up coming winter months.

With the utmost respect and gratitude,
Thank you Mr Hiatt!

Photo(4th one down) looks like a regular WL Model (1941 fuel tank emblem) and you can see the timer (no mag up front) That H-D sweater came out just before WWII, so probably taken right before everything got ugly. I've seen those tents in photos of "beach-type" races to keep sand off all your tools. Wheel covers sure were popular - you see them in many vintage bike photos - where'd they all go???

Awesome! Each image is a gold nugget. Every week I go to the auction, scrounging to find an album full of stuff like this. Start scanning, please.
