Bolts-Action 2017, the aftermath

turns out that 700 miles of keeping up with a racer on a Wing in 90+ heat was a bit more then i bargained for

 and here i am, again, behind 747 on a Goldwing

for 90 miles

 a Time-Sert backed out and a blown lifter; too bad the lifter scored the block and cam too

and not to make light of his plight, Travis did have a catastrophic "make-up mirror" failure, nearly grinding human evolution to a halt

Bolts-Action 2017, day-whatever

 a sure sign of the apocalypse, trying to figure out the on-board compressor

this trip was absolutely a reminder that the motorcycle is the vehicle that moves you

but it is the people involved that can make or break anything

 Hayden to Rock Springs via Sunbeam then through Pinedale to Jackson

 again, these roads weren't on my maps. its a whole different thing to travel through areas with someone who knows not only the way but also a heap of stories about the area's history and personal tales of disaster and fun-times
