Orochon Ramen, Little Tokyo

After visiting Dan Denver aka Denver Dan one afternoon, we went to go check out this Japanese noodle house: Orochon Ramen. I think The Hater seen this place featured on one of those food challenge shows so we had to go check it out.
We waited for a while. Even The Hater's persuasiveness had no sway in our wait time until I spoke their tongue. Then a young waiter came running over with extra chairs and we were seated within 10 seconds (no joke).
Aurelia was with us for this fine day of adventure in Los Angeles. We all patiently waited for our menus. Water did nothing for us! We waiting long enough:
We were all smiles because the menu looked promising:
But was there was a gimmick. The whole deal with this place was making the soup super spicy, which we all agreed that it was gimmicky! Hide the flavor with spicy spicy soup!
But one real tip as to whether or not the Japanese food will be good is if the entire place is staffed with Japanese people. It was.

Ah, ramen shows up. We wanted a quick afternoon fill so we could all get on with the rest of our night. It was very decent. I probably would not seek this place out again but I'm definitely glad I tried it. But, I mean, if I was hungry and across the street I would eat here again for sure:
Just wasn't like special but we all polished everything off. I think we're kinda spoiled:
The End.

Try another Ramen restaurant where just right down floor.
That's my favorite spicy but tasty ramen in LA.
